Building Tomorrow’s Business Leaders, One Lemonade Stand at a Time

Do you remember setting up a lemonade stand as a kid, just for fun? Now, imagine turning that simple childhood moment into a powerful learning experience for your own children. That’s exactly what Lemonade Day Galveston County does—empowering young entrepreneurs with the skills they need to succeed in life!

For 13 years, the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce has been organizing Lemonade Day Galveston County, teaching kids the basics of planning, budgeting, and goal-setting—essential skills that will serve them well into adulthood.

It all kicks off with the 2025 Step Up FOR Education Expo & 13th Annual Lemonade Day Galveston County Registration Celebration on Tuesday, April 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Weis Middle School (7100 Stewart Road).

At this exciting event, kids can register for Lemonade Day Galveston County on May 3, where they’ll get the chance to launch their own business—a lemonade stand! Early registration is also available online at lemonadeday.org/galveston-county.

Lemonade Day encourages kids to “spend some, save some, and share some.” The expo gathers the community to learn all things education with vendors representing local nonprofit groups, schools, businesses and more.

Plus, we’ll have giveaways and student performance groups will add to the fun.

Participants receive a free backpack and a workbook, guiding them to set a goal, make a plan, work the plan, and achieve their dreams. Plus, they’ll score a free Lemonade Day T-shirt.

Lemonade Day is a community effort, and we couldn’t do it without our schools, sponsors and community partners.
