2022 Mudbugs And Beer Social Media Event

The C-Crewe Professionals, short for Chamber Crewe, was created in May 2010 to engage young professionals in the Galveston business community. The program provides opportunities for our young people to make business connections, learn from the businessmen and women who came before them, and see the value and purpose of the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce. We provide the following events:

Luncheons

The C-Crewe Professionals organizes one luncheon per month for their membership in a variety of formats. Mentor Luncheons feature three influential businessmen and women invited to sit roundtable with the young professionals, while Hot Topic Luncheons focus on an important issue facing the community and serve as an educational forum where our young professionals can develop their own opinions.

Mixers

After hours mixers for the C-Crewe Professionals are a casual atmosphere where members can sharpen networking skills and create working relationships with other young professionals.

Special Events

The C-Crewe Professionals’ flagship event, Mudbugs & Beer on the Bayou, was first held in May 2010 when the group kicked off. It has been an annual event ever since.

My Galveston

Logos Mygalveston Notag Longcolor

In 2013, the Crewe created My Galveston, a grassroots effort to promote Galveston as a great place to live. The public relations campaign aims to increase the number of families and professionals living on the island, change perceptions related to island living including safety, education, and housing, and encourage population growth. My Galveston encourages all groups to promote Galveston Island by sharing the positive reality of island life and presenting facts, so people can make an informed decision when actively looking at Galveston as a place to live and work. Become part of the movement, share your My Galveston testimonial on the My Galveston Facebook page and use the hashtag #mygalveston. Together, we can make an impact on all who call the island home today and those who will make it their home in the future.
