The Consumer Lending Specialist has the primary responsibility of preparing and closing consumer non-real estate loan documents.  This person will also understand the basics of consumer credit, rules and regulations pertaining to consumer lending, and be able to communicate effectively with both the bank employee and the customer using strong oral and written communication skills. Preparing loan documents, handling adverse action letters and exception tracking, calling past due customers will be an essential part of your daily duties. Managing our prepaid portfolio, which includes account reconcilement, maintaining logs and handling the plastics is part of the tasks assigned to this position.  Understanding VISA Debit/Credit Cards and the different products and processes we offer in connection with our cards is necessary to handling phone calls and emails.  We are looking for someone that can excel in a high pressure setting and works well in a team environment.  Time management and organizational skills are a priority to fulfilling the duties of this position.


 


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of lending experience or customer service with a financial institution preferred.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel is required
