Robert Mihovil is a Galveston/Houston freelance photographer whose work has achieved national recognition through its use in news and general interest publications, advertisements, annual reports, illustrated brochures, membership directories, political campaigns, travel guides and web sites.

Mihovil’s photographs have appeared in news and feature articles for Coast Monthly, Coastal Living, National Geographic, Newsweek, Offshore, People, Smithsonian, Texas Highways, Texas Journey and Time. The Austin American Statesmen, Boston Globe, Guidry News, Houston Chronicle, New York Times and USA Today have also published his work.

Mihovil’s passion for photography is equaled only by his passion and love for Galveston Island. His colorful imagery reflects the way a native Galvestonian sees and appreciates his hometown.
