The Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce announces Houston’s Hybrid 7 to join their headliner, The Four Tops, as part of the entertainment for the 178th annual meeting –
“Back to Detroit City” on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the Galveston Island Convention Center.
Hybrid 7, a 10-piece, high-intensity music show band, will deliver Motown hits from legends like The Supremes, The Temptations, Diana Ross, and so many more before a jaw-dropping performance by The Four Tops.
“This high-energy experience will be a night to remember,” said Gina M. Spagnola, president and chief executive officer of the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce. “When the doors open, you will enter a nightclub and relive the unforgettable chapter of Motown and the music of an entire generation. We’re going to have era cars, private lounges, a recording studio, an arcade area, food, drinks, lit up dance pods where you’ll be able to show of your mooooves and so much more!”
The Four Tops’ Motown hit, “Baby I Need Your Loving” in 1964, made them stars, and “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch),” a no. 1 R&B and Pop smash in 1965, is one of Motown’s longest-running chart toppers. As part of this iconic era of music, Houston’s Hybrid 7 music show band will open and close the evening.
