GALVESTON, TX (May 13, 2021) – The Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce will host the State of the Region luncheon focusing on the region’s economic situation and current issues facing businesses.

The luncheon will be held on Tuesday, June 15 from 11:30am – 1pm in the Grand Ballroom at the San Luis Resort Spa and Conference Center, 5222 Seawall Blvd, Galveston.

Speakers will include County Judge Mark Henry, City of Galveston Mayor, Dr. Craig Brown, Galveston Independent School District Superintendent, Dr. Jerry Gibson and Galveston County Local Health Authority, Dr. Philip Keiser.

“This is an important event for chamber members and the community as we outline the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and discuss upcoming plans for leading our region into the future,” said Gina M.
