The Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the launch of Small Business Season! Small businesses are the heartbeat of our island, bringing vibrancy, character, and innovation to our community. Now through December 31st, we invite both residents and visitors to take part in this season-long celebration of the entrepreneurs and small business owners that make Galveston unique. Small Business Season is more than just a shopping event—it’s an opportunity to uplift the local businesses that contribute so much to our economy, create jobs, and foster a sense of community. This initiative aims to showcase the creativity, perseverance, and spirit of Galveston’s small business community, giving them the platform to thrive and grow during the holiday season and beyond. Here’s how you can make the most of Small Business Season and support our local businesses: Gift Local: Consider purchasing gift cards or certificates from your favorite local businesses to give as holiday presents. Not only does this support our small businesses, but it also introduces family and friends to the unique gems Galveston has to offer. Keep an eye out for Chamber member businesses offering special promotions on gift cards this season! Shop Local: Whether you’re buying holiday gifts, dining out, or simply stocking up on essentials, choose to shop locally whenever possible. Supporting Galveston’s small businesses strengthens our economy and helps create local jobs. By shopping local, you’re ensuring that our businesses continue to thrive and serve the community we love. Display the Small Business Season Poster: We encourage you to download Small Business Season poster and display at your business. Click here to download. Spread the Word: Share your positive experiences with other local businesses and customers on social media. Write reviews, post pictures of your purchases, and use event-specific hashtags like #GalvestonSmallBizSeason or #GalvestonChamber to create buzz. Your word-of-mouth recommendations can help attract new customers and boost business during this critical time. Post Pics in our Small Business Season Facebook Group: We want to share your story. If you’re a member of the Chamber, we want your pics. You are the face(s) of Small Business.
