GALVESTON, TX – August 20, 2025 – The Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce, with special guest Congressman Randy Weber, will host a breakfast meeting featuring the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) on Thursday, August 28 at 8:00 a.m. in Edna’s Room, 2020 Postoffice. The program will give local business leaders an overview of tax credits available through recent federal legislation. The cost to attend is $15 for Chamber members and $20 for future members.
Louis A. Bertolotti, NFIB Principal, and Jeff Burdett, Texas State Director, are presenting.
The NFIB is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, member-driven organization that has advocated for America’s small and independent business owners for more than 75 years. Representing members in Washington, D.C., and all 50 state capitals, NFIB is guided by a unique one-vote-per-member process to ensure its agenda reflects the priorities of its membership. Key issues include taxes, healthcare, and regulations.
“The NFIB is working with Chambers of Commerce across the country to share information about available tax credits through recent federal legislation,” says Gina Spagnola, president and CEO of the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce. “Through the support of our generous sponsors, we are able to host this informative breakfast for our business community.”
The breakfast is sponsored by Galtex Pilots Service Corp, Texas International Terminals, and UTMB Health.
