Galveston, Texas – October 8, 2021 – Senator Ted Cruz will speak at the Legislative Update Luncheon hosted by the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce on Friday, October 15, 2021, in the Davidson Ballroom at The Tremont House located at 2300 Ships Mechanic Row from 11:30am-1pm in Galveston.

The event will allow attendees to hear important updates about the current legislative agenda and a personal update from Senator Cruz.

Senator Ted Cruz represents 29 million Texans in the U.S. Senate as a passionate fighter for limited government, national security, and economic growth. He has authored dozens of legislative measures that have been signed into law, including expanding 529 college savings accounts to allow parents to save for K–12 public, private, and religious education and repealing Obamacare’s individual mandate. He is also leading the fight in the Senate to support Texas jobs, hold Big Tech accountable to the American people, secure the border, fundamentally reassess the U.S.-China relationship and hold the Chinese Communist Party accountable for covering up the coronavirus pandemic, committing human rights atrocities, and engaging in censorship, propaganda, and espionage in the United States.

“We are honored to have Senator Cruz as our guest speaker”, said Gina M. Spagnola, president and CEO of the Galveston Chamber. “This is an opportunity for our members and the community to hear about Sen. Cruz’s positions on issues that affect their business. Our business community advances when we are strong and engaged with elected officials who set policy for our state.”
