The Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the 181st Annual Meeting & 3rd Annual Galveston Island Country Music Fest, a one-of-a-kind Texas celebration honoring leadership, legacy, and the spirit of Galveston.
This year’s event will honor Vic Pierson, Chairman, President & CEO of Moody Bank, as the 2025 “Nonno” Tony Smecca Galvestonian of the Year—recognizing his lifelong dedication to community service, integrity, and leadership that continues to strengthen the fabric of Galveston and the great state of Texas.

Headlining the Night: Texas Country Duo Dos Borrachos
Texas country legends Kevin Fowler and Roger Creager—known together as Dos Borrachos—will bring their high-energy, crowd-pleasing show to the island for an unforgettable evening of music and fun.
Fresh off their 2025 album Uno Mas, the duo’s fan favorites like “Margarita Man,” “Those Nights These Days,” and “Joe Sure Knows How to Live” promise to keep the crowd singing and dancing all night. Formed after a legendary songwriting trip to Mexico, Fowler and Creager’s friendship, humor, and honky-tonk energy have made them a must-see across Texas.
